Holiness: How Position Impacts Practice

by

It’s amazing to consider how much our position in Christ colors everything about the Christian life, especially when we talk about holiness. So often, holiness is thrown around like it’s all about what you do—your habits, your choices, your strict moral checklist. But if you dive into Scripture with the eye of a grace believer … Read more

Holiness: Separation Unto God by Position

by

There’s something beautifully unsettling about the word holiness. On one hand, it sounds lofty, like a distant star flashing far above the clouds. On the other, it feels unnervingly personal—like a call to live differently in a world that insists on uniformity. For those of us who stand firm in the grace message and rightly … Read more

Sometimes, the clash between faith and works comes off like an old theological showdown that just won’t quit. You hear that phrase—“faith without works is dead”—and it’s almost drilled into your head, like a spiritual drill sergeant barking orders. But what if we’re missing the nuance? What if the enemy isn’t just misunderstanding, but a … Read more

Grace and the Collapse of Self-Confidence

by

Sometimes, the idea of self-confidence feels like building a castle on sand. We all want to stand tall, head high, believing in ourselves—but what happens when that sure footing crumbles? Grace, in its dazzling mercy, has a way of unraveling self-confidence, but not to break us. It tears down the fragile self we build and … Read more
