Reflection on Today's Verse
No man is justified by the works of the law. God does not accept you because you have done enough, improved enough, or proved enough. He justifies through Jesus Christ.
That truth humbles the flesh, but it also brings peace. You do not need to spend your day trying to earn what Christ has already secured. The cross was necessary because the law could never make a sinner righteous. So when guilt, striving, or spiritual pressure starts to rise, this verse tells you where to look: not inward to your own works, but outward to Christ alone.
Today is a good day to stand still in grace. Let your heart remember that your acceptance before God is not fragile, because it is not built on you. It is built on the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for the truth of Your grace and for the righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, not by the works of the law. Thank You that salvation is not earned by my effort, but given freely through faith in Your Son. Keep my heart from leaning on the flesh, from trusting in performance, and from seeking peace through my own works.
Help me to rest in Christ and to rejoice in what He has already finished for me. Let this truth steady my mind today and fill my heart with peace, humility, and gratitude. In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.
