Reflection on Today's Verse
Some things in life make the heart dull. Some habits cloud your judgment, steal your peace, or pull your attention away from what is true and profitable. This verse encourages you to live in a way that is clean, ready, and useful for the Master. The Lord can use a surrendered life. He can use a heart that is willing to leave behind strife, compromise, and empty pursuits. He prepares such a vessel for every good work.
Today is a good day to ask: what needs to be put away so that your life may be more available to Christ? The call is not to despair, but to yield. The Master is worthy of a vessel kept for His purpose.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your word, and thank You for calling me unto a life that is set apart for Your use. Help me to put away the things that dishonor You and to turn from what weakens my walk. Cleanse my mind, my heart, and my choices, that I may be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the Master’s use.
Lord, make me ready for every good work You have prepared. Teach me to walk in truth, humility, and obedience. Keep me from strife, distraction, and fleshly ways, and help me to live in a manner that pleases You. I pray that my life be useful to You and a testimony of Your grace. In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.
