Reflection on Today's Verse
Eternal life is not a last-minute idea, nor is it something uncertain or fragile. It is rooted in the promise of God, and God cannot lie. That means your confidence is not in your feelings, your performance, or your ability to stay strong every day. Your confidence is in the character of God Himself. He is true. He is faithful. What He has promised in Christ is sure.
Remember that God’s purpose is far bigger than the present moment. Before the world began, He had already purposed eternal life. That gives rest to the soul. Salvation is not an accident, and grace is not an afterthought.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You that Your promise is true and sure. Thank You that eternal life rests not on my works, but on Your faithfulness. When my heart feels weak or uncertain, help me to remember that You cannot lie and that Your word stands forever.
I pray that this truth bring peace to my mind and steadiness to my walk. Thank You for the life You have promised in Christ before the world began. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
