This encourages a perspective of stewardship over the life we’ve been given. Just as the firstfruits are set apart for a special purpose, so too are we set apart to spread the goodness and truth of God through our words and actions. It means to prioritize kindness, integrity and generosity as reflections of God’s character through us.
As Christians, we should embrace and act upon the new identity granted to us by God’s grace. It challenges us to live intentionally knowing that our lives are a testimony to His truth and love that is meant to shine brightly in a world that needs the hope and redemption that comes from Him.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, strengthen me to be steadfast and faithful, to bear fruit in every good work and to grow in the knowledge of You. Help me to prioritize what is truly important living out my days with purpose and intention, as a dedicated offering to You.
Thank You for Your unending faithfulness and love. I ask that my life be a continual praise to Your name. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
