Thought and Reflection
There is only one foundation that both the church and Christian life can be established. That foundation is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the one whom God chose to redeem us. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only “way, the truth, and life,” the only way to God. Jesus Christ is the Lord. Jesus Christ is the name above all other names that is the name at where every knee will be bowed.
Jesus is the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Today, let’s make time to expressly be awestruck by Jesus as Lord by our heart as well as with our words and even our actions.
My Prayer
Lord Jesus Your name is higher than every other name ever given. Your glory reaches back to the beginning of time and will continue to shine even when the light of every star has gone out. Your sacrificial love that saved me is incredible and far beyond comparison.
I am grateful for Your heartfelt love and gratitude. You are the only one to be praised with all glory, power, and grace for all You’ve done to save me, and for the things You’ll one day take to return me to You. Amen.
