Thought and Reflection
This passage makes me pray to God, “Please restore us God!” Your people have lost their wonder and need your help. Bring back our innocence from the grave. Restore our lives back to their original state of perfection and intent. O God Almighty, restore us to ourselves!.
Although not all Christians have lost their sense of wonder, and not everyone has an old withered heart or sense of wonder, we all need God to shine on us and renew our hearts.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, the Creator of new things, sometimes my soul feels tired and old. Your strength and presence are what I need to be restored. I need Your help to restore my faith and bring Your grace into my life. Restore me to Your love and spread it to others. I need to be restored to Your righteousness in order for others to see Your character.
Please restore all who call upon your Name, so that the whole world can see You and know Your saving grace. I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
