Belief is not merely intellectual assent but involves a trust and commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This belief transforms lives, guiding believers to live in a way that reflects the teachings and example of Christ.

Baptism, on the other hand, is an outward expression of this inward faith. It symbolizes the believer’s death to their old life and rebirth into a new life in Christ. It is a public declaration of faith and a step of obedience in the walk of faith.

This challenges us to live a life marked by faith, obedience, and evangelism, striving to embody the values and teachings of Jesus in every aspect of life.

My Prayer

Heavenly Father, please guide me as I seek to obey Your call to be baptized, or if I have already been baptized, to live out the reality of that baptism—dying to sin and rising to new life in Christ. May my life be a testament to Your transforming power and love.

I also ask for courage and wisdom to share this truth with others. Open doors for me to witness to the life-changing reality of belief in Jesus, and give me the words to speak Your truth in love. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
