O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. — Psalm 95:1-2 KJV
Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. — Psalm 95:1-2 NIV
Bible Verse Reflection
Joy is a mystery that requires no more explanation than laughter and music. The Lord is our music which cause us to be joyful.
Our music isn’t slowed or restrained however, it is as exuberant and loud as it is full of heart. Thanksgiving draws us to the Father’s presence, and it’s our gratitude for being saved that drives the church to sing.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for rescuing me from death, sin and lawlessness. Thank you for helping me to be saved and for giving me the confidence by your Holy Spirit so that I can be before You in exuberant and overwhelming joy.
Your kindness and love have not only brought me hope, but also transformed me to become Your child. Hear my heart, and feel grateful for the songs I sing to You. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
