As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me. Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice. — Psalm 55:16-17 KJV
As for me, I call to God, and the Lord saves me. Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and he hears my voice. — Psalm 55:16-17 NIV
Thought and Reflection
This Psalm of trust in God unexpectedly has a significantly more remarkable ring to it in remembering the resurrection of Christ. God saves us. God pays attention to our voice.
We should rest assured He both hears and acts to bring salvation for us. The only question is whether we shout to God evening, morning and early afternoon confiding in His answer?
My Prayer
Abba Father, I have troubles on my heart about things in my own life that need your grace and power. Hear my voice and my heart as I share these worries with You.
I am grateful to You for hearing me and saving me. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
