Thought and Reflection
We are called to eagerly, charitably and intensely pray for one another, for as we lift up the people who might have wronged us.. to the Lord in prayer, the fellowship of His adoration will stream into our hearts and minds, eliminating any bitterness or buildup of unforgiveness.
We are called to be holy for God is holy, however it is just as we admit our wrongdoings to each other and to our Father in paradise, that fellowship is restored and our prayers become viable.
It is just as we live in Him and walk faithful in Christ Jesus that we are empowered to pray in spirit and truth – and the ferveny prayer of a righteous man can achieve a lot.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, grant me a heart to maintain sweet fellowship with You and to walk humbly in Christ Jesus. Teach me to recognize my faults and seek Your forgivenes.
Help me also to confess my sins to those I have done wrong, and I pray that I may maintain an attitude of prayerfulness. I ask that I may learn to pray fervently in spirit and truth, so that in Christ my prayers may be effective and avail much. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
