Reflection
Be loving to the Lord. Maintain your fortitude because you are placing your hope in the Lord. To put it another way, acknowledge the areas in which you excel. Recognize the source from which you have received grace. Give thanks to God for the plenitude of his mercy and the power that he has bestowed on us by means of his Holy Spirit. The Lord God will keep his people safe in the end. Even if fidelity is looked down upon in this world, he gives it the respect it deserves. The Lord will bless his people and bring justice to those who make fun of them and mistreat them.
My Prayer
Dear Father, give me strength since I find myself in tough times with foes at my door and opponents on every side. Give me your strength. Please grant me the discernment to recognize it is your grace that guides me. I beg you to give me the strength to defend that which is just, unadulterated, and holy. I beg you to open my eyes so that I can see the ways in which you wish to use me to bring glory to yourself. As I wait for the completion of your work in me, I ask that you keep my optimism and passion alive in the meantime. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
