Reflection
God made a new promise to his creations, the humans, and sealed it with the blood of his Son, Jesus, and then sent the Holy Spirit to infuse us with the ability to keep that promise and live in accordance with the terms of the new covenant. God has vowed unending love and grace to us by making this covenant. Furthermore, the Lord God has made us fit and able to tell others about this covenant. Obviously, it’s called “life-giving” because it facilitates the growth of new life within and outside us.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for your grace, which has delivered me from my sins and redeemed me from the power of the law of sin and death. Your Son and your Spirit have been sent as a gift to me so that I may have a covenant relationship with you in which life, grace, and love abound. While I recognize my limitations, help me do my best to honor your sacrifice, love, and promise as I move forward in life. I have faith that you will give me the strength I need to become the person you have called me to be. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
