Bible Verse Reflection

We have many pursuits yet only one goal yields wisdom. Paul reminds of the Athenians that God has created us to search for him and find God. Wisdom of Proverbs constantly leads people back “knowing God” and having reverence and admiration for God for being the ultimate source of wisdom.

Understanding of the priorities, purposes, needs and goals, as well as problems can only be achieved when we recognize who the Lord is and how we can recognize Him in our daily lives.

My Prayer

Heavenly Father, I admit that I have a relationship with you much less than you know me. But because of your faithfulness to me, the power demonstrated in the past and Your love for thousands of people through the death of Christ and Your commitment to bring me back to You in the future will sustain me.

Teach me to know more about You, so that my life may be a part of Your plan and not for my success or glory instead. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
