Today's Verse Reflection

As Christians we need examine our lives and consider whether there are ways we might be holding back good from those to whom it is due. Are there instances where we have the power to make a positive difference but choose not to? So we must not only hearers of the Word but doers also while actively seeking to embody the goodness and compassion of Christ in our actions.

My Prayer

Heavenly Father, I pray for the strength to act with kindness without hesitation, to give without seeking recognition and to uphold justice and mercy as pillars in my life. Bless my hands to comfort the distressed, my resources be a channel of Your provision for the needy and my words bring hope and encouragement to the weary. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
