Today's Verse Reflection

We must seek God’s wisdom and live in a way that reflects His light. This involves not only personal moral integrity but also a commitment to being a source of light in the world – helping, guiding, and loving others as an expression of our faith.

This verse also reassures us that despite the darkness in the world, the light of righteousness which ultimately comes from God will shine brightly. It’s a promise that good will prevail over evil, and that those who follow God will experience His guiding light in their lives.

My Prayer

I pray, Father, that You continue to fill me with Your light, that it may shine brightly in my life. Let it be a beacon of hope, guidance, and love to those around me. In a world often clouded with darkness, let Your light within me dispel fear, doubt, and confusion.

Grant me, O Lord, the strength and wisdom to walk in Your ways, to uphold Your truth, and to live a life that honors You. Help me to embody righteousness in my thoughts, words, and actions. May my life reflect Your grace and love to others, drawing them closer to Your warmth and light.

Forgive me, Lord, for the times I have faltered and walked in darkness. Thank You for Your mercy and grace that rescue me. Rekindle my spirit when it wanes, and keep my lamp burning brightly with Your eternal flame.

I also pray for those who are lost in darkness, that they may see Your light in me and find their way to You. Use me as an instrument of Your peace and love, to touch the hearts of the lost and the broken.

Thank You, Father, for the promise of Your unending light. I trust in Your goodness and power to overcome all darkness. In the precious name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
