Today's Verse Reflection

The day will come when the Lord Jesus Christ will return as King of kings and Lord of lords. The heavens will open and every eye will see Him riding on a white horse. His eyes will be like a flame of fire and on His head will be many crowns.

He will wage war in righteousness against the enemies of God and will tread the winepress of the fierceness of God’s wrath and anger. He will bring peace and righteousness to this world because He alone is the Prince of peace and the eternal King of Righteousness.

This great Second Coming is when Jesus Christ returns with His chosen ones to defeat the Antichrist, overthrow evil, and then establish His thousand year reign upon earth. This wonderful Second Coming is when the Son of man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him. Amen.

My Prayer

Guide me, O Lord, to live a life worthy of Your calling. Help me to combat the evils of this world with the armor of Your righteousness. As You will wage war against the enemies of the Most High God, inspire me to fight the good fight against injustice and unrighteousness in my own life.

In the midst of the turmoil and struggles of this world, I pray for Your peace to reign in my heart. Remind me that You alone are the source of true peace and righteousness. As You prepare to tread the winepress of God’s fierce wrath, let me remember Your love and sacrifice, and the peace You bring to a war-torn world.

I eagerly anticipate the glorious day of Your return, when You will defeat the Antichrist, overthrow evil, and establish Your thousand-year reign on earth. Keep my heart steadfast in the faith, filled with the joy and hope of Your glorious coming.

Bless me, Lord, with the grace to live each day in the light of Your Second Coming. May I always be ready, with a heart full of faith, to receive You in Your glory, together with all the holy angels.

In Your holy and precious name, I pray, Amen.
