But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. — Malachi 4:2 KJV

But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves. — Malachi 4:2 NIV

Reflection on Verse for Today

In our walk of faith, there are times of struggle, doubts, and pains. There can be moments where darkness appears to overshadow the light, and healing feels distant.

Yet, the promise embedded in this verse gives us the assurance that in revering God’s name – in dwelling in a state of respect, honor, and awe towards the Almighty, there will be subsequent rising, a dawning of righteousness that brings forth healing and restoration.

My Prayer

Heavenly Father, I submit myself to You, trusting that Your healing is at work within and around me, even when my eyes cannot perceive it.

May my life continually honor and revere You, ensuring that every step taken is a stride towards a deeper connection with You, my Healer, my Redeemer, and my Sustainer.

In the powerful and healing name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
