Reflection on Today's Verse
Righteousness does not come from trying to prove ourselves worthy before God. Christ fulfilled the law completely and accomplished what we could never achieve through our own effort. Because of Him, everyone who believes can be made right with God.
This truth brings both humility and peace. We cannot boast in our goodness, but we also do not have to live under the crushing pressure of earning God’s acceptance. Our confidence rests in Jesus Christ and His finished work. Faith means turning away from self-righteousness and resting fully in what He has done for us.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Jesus Christ to fulfill what I could never fulfill on my own. Help me stop relying on my works, goodness, or religious performance and teach me to rest completely in Christ.
Thank You that righteousness is given to everyone who believes. Strengthen my faith, remove pride and fear from my heart, and help me live each day with gratitude for Your grace. May my life honor the Lord Jesus and reflect the truth of His finished work.
