Reflection on Today's Verse
Through Christ, we are no longer slaves but sons and daughters of God. We do not have to live in fear, trying to earn God’s love or prove that we are worthy of His acceptance. In Christ, we are already welcomed into God’s family.
Being an heir means we have been given a place, a promise, and a spiritual inheritance that cannot be earned by human effort. Our relationship with God is rooted in grace. We may still face struggles, doubts, and failures, but these do not cancel our identity in Christ. We belong to Him.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for making me Your child through Jesus Christ. Help me to stop living in fear and striving for Your acceptance. Remind me that I belong to You, not because of my own goodness, but because of Your grace.
Teach me to walk confidently in the identity You have given me. When I feel unworthy, discouraged, or alone, help me remember that I am Your child and an heir through Christ.
May my life reflect the love, freedom, and gratitude of someone who truly belongs to You.
