Today's Verse Reflection

This reminds us of the importance of seeking not our own will, but God’s will in our lives. Just as Jesus listened to God and made judgments based on what He heard from the Father, we too are called to listen for God’s guidance in our lives. This involves a posture of humility and acknowledgment that we don’t have all the answers and that our understanding is limited.

My Prayer

Heavenly Father, just as Jesus sought not to please Himself but to please You, help me to align my desires with Yours. In my decisions, in my actions, and in my thoughts, may Your will be my foremost pursuit. Give me the courage to let go of my plans and embrace the plans You have for me, trusting that they are for my good and Your glory.

In moments of uncertainty or difficulty, remind me of Jesus’ reliance on You. Strengthen me with the knowledge that I am not alone, that You are with me, guiding and supporting me in every step. May Your wisdom be my guide, and Your love be the motivation behind all I do.

Thank You, Lord, for the perfect example of Jesus. Through His words and actions, show me how to live a life that reflects Your love and grace. Mold my heart to be more like His, seeking not my own glory, but Yours alone.

In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
