Reflection

Oftentimes, obedience is perceived as a duty or an obligation. However, in the context of our relationship with Christ, obedience springs from a place of deep love and devotion. When we truly love someone, our actions naturally align with their desires. So remember this… “Our obedience to Christ’s commands is a testament to our love for Him.”

My Prayer

Lord, I confess that there are times when my actions do not align with Your commands, and my love wavers in the face of worldly temptations.

I pray, O Lord, that my love for You may be genuine and steadfast. May it be the driving force behind every decision I make and every action I undertake. Help me to understand Your commands, not as burdens, but as guideposts leading me closer to Your heart.

In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
