Thought and Reflection

God is able to humble those who are arrogant. He has set a date for this purpose. But until that day comes the people of God’s Kingdom have to be aware that the most powerful but not godly could be destroyed. It is not wise to trust human power. It can vanish like dew when the sun rises.

Human power is restricted by death. If an ounce of breath from a tyrant has gone and his power is also gone, so too is his power. After the deeds of a wicked person is done all that remains is the bad. The only thing we can trust is God. Any other choice is just a small, dim and discolored representation of the true thing.

My Prayer

Heavenly Father, forgive me for the instances where I’ve relied on my own wisdom and knowledge of the world. I am sorry for not believing in Your goodness and trusting in shady ways and untrue partners.

I ask you to cleanse me and instill my heart a pure one and unquenchable love for You. I ask this in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
