Today's Verse Reflection

This verse inspire Christians to appreciate the order and beauty of God’s creation, recognize God’s sovereignty, seek spiritual enlightenment, and make discerning choices that reflect the separation between good and evil. It’s a call to live in the light of God’s goodness and to be agents of that light in the world.

My Prayer

Lord, I thank You for the light You have created and for the goodness that permeates Your creation. Help me to see Your handiwork in the world around me and to appreciate the intricate balance and beauty You have instilled in the universe.

In Your wisdom, You have called us to live in the light, to embrace the goodness and shun the darkness. Grant me the discernment to recognize the light from the darkness in my own life. Empower me to choose the path illuminated by Your truth and to avoid the shadows of deception and sin.

Jesus, Light of the World, shine in my heart. Dispel the shadows that linger and guide my steps in the way of righteousness. May Your light reflect in my actions, my words, and my thoughts, so that I might be a beacon of hope and love in a world that often dwells in darkness.

As You separated the light from the darkness on that first day, separate me from anything that displeases You. Sanctify my heart and fill me with Your Holy Spirit, so that I may walk in Your light, live by Your truth, and serve as a testament to the goodness of Your creation.

In Your holy name, I pray, Amen.
