Reflection on Verse for Today
As the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God was born of the line of David into a fallen race of sinners. He came to reconcile all who believe in His name to the Father through the sacrifice of His own body through His death, and to present us faultless and blameless before Him.
Doesn’t your heart skip a beat as you marvel at the immeasurable riches of God’s grace that have been poured out on us? How incredible that God should take the initiative to die for our sins in order for us to be reconciled to Himself and presented faultless and blameless before Him through Christ.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for reconciling the world to Yourself through the death of Jesus Christ, my Lord, and for forgiving my sins so that I may be clothed in Christ’s righteousness. I pray that the awe of this glorious truth never wears off in my life. I pray in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
