Reflection on Today's Verse
Paul’s ministry was not based on human opinion, religious pressure, or personal ambition. He went up “by revelation” and communicated the gospel that God had entrusted to him.
This teaches us that truth must come from God’s Word, not from tradition alone. Paul’s gospel to the Gentiles centered on the grace of God and the finished work of Christ. As believers, we are called to stand firmly in that grace, not adding human works to what Christ has already completed.
When God gives light through His Word, we should receive it with humility, share it with clarity, and walk in it with confidence.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for revealing Your truth through Your Word. Help me to understand the gospel of grace more clearly and to stand firmly in the finished work of Christ. Keep me from trusting in my own efforts, traditions, or understanding above Your truth.
Give me wisdom to rightly divide Your Word, humility to keep learning, and boldness to share the message of grace with others. May my faith rest fully in Christ, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
