For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. — 2 Corinthians 5:21 KJV
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. — 2 Corinthians 5:21 NIV
Today's Thought and Reflection
Our sinless Savior was convicted of sin because of us. God’s eternal Son God was able to take the accumulated sins of the world on Himself, including your sin as well as my sin.
Jesus Christ recognized our sins and shame in order that we would be forever associated with His glorious glory and eternal righteousness simply by believing in His name, the begotten son of God. What an amazing grace and love of God!
My Prayer
Thank you, Almighty Father, for making me righteous through the sacrifice of the blood shed by your Son’s sacrifice. Let people be able to see in me an example of your holiness and justice when I try to offer them Your mercy. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
