If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities. — 2 Corinthians 11:30 KJV
If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness. — 2 Corinthians 11:30 NIV
Reflection
Weakness isn’t typically the quality that compliments a man in the world in which we live. Be that as it may, in God’s economy, when we are weak in our own strength we are strong in the Lord. When we are loathed by the world we are regarded by the Lord. When we are humble before the Lord He will lift up us, and when we suffer for righteousness, we are joyful for Christ is our Head and in Him, when we are weak, we are strong.
My Prayer
Wonderful Father, thank You for my great salvation. Much thanks to You for Your Promise, the bits of insight it contains, and the admonitions it gives. Give me wisdom and knowledge to distinguish mistake and hold me back from being impacted by those who profess to be godly men, however deep down are ravenous wolves. Thanks that my hope and my strength is in You and that when I’m weak in my own significance, I’m strong in the Lord and in the might of His power. Help me to boast in the Cross of Christ and Him alone for Your praise and glory. In Jesus name I Pray. Amen.
