Reflection
Knowing that someone is praying for you and your spiritual needs is incredibly comforting in a world where it’s easy to feel alone and disconnected. My heart overflows with gratitude for the hundreds of people who are a part of the Today’s Verse mission, and I ask God to bless you as you take comfort in the knowledge that you are on a spiritual journey with others all around the world today. And of course, there is no better prayer than what Paul prayed for the Colossian companions he had never met: “I ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual insight and understanding.” Let’s say a prayer like that today for each other.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, I pray for the other believers who come before you and try to live for you. I offer special prayers for everyone who is traveling with me through Today’s Verse. Even though we come from different parts of the world and have a variety of needs, we are all aware that our greatest wants are to know and follow your will and to have faith in the fact that you are aware of and loving us. Please impart to us all the wisdom and understanding of your will through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We want to get to know you, respect you, help you, and finally meet you in person. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.
