Reflection

The doctrine of Christ and the gospel of grace are non-negotiable and must never be altered to satisfy carnality or compromise, religion, or other pet diversion from the truth. Both of these doctrines are non-negotiable and must never be altered. However, it is all too easy to look down on a brother or sister in Christ who is attempting to share the glorious gospel of Christ in a manner that does not meet with our approval or is outside of our particular experience or practice. This is because it is all too easy to look down on a brother or sister in Christ who is attempting to share the gospel in a manner that does not meet with

To the extent that it is within our power, may we be ready and willing to let go of some of the prejudices that we have developed and adopt the attitude of the apostle Paul, who was willing to become all things to all men in order to spread the good news of God’s grace and Christ’s atoning sacrifice on the cross for the sins of the world. In doing so, we will increase the likelihood that some people will be saved for the glory of God.

My Prayer

Whoever desires to come to faith in Christ and be saved through His redeemed blood has the ability to do so, Heavenly Father; it is a beautiful thing to know that there is no one who is ineligible to receive salvation from You, for anybody can come to faith in Christ. I pray that You will provide me with opportunities to spread the good news of the gospel of Christ to people in my part of the world, and that You would empower me in becoming all things to all men so that some may be saved through any means possible. I give thanks that it is not Your will for anyone to be destroyed, but rather that everyone should have the opportunity to have a saving faith in Jesus Christ in whose name I pray. Amen.
