Reflection
It’s time to close! At that point, everything is counted, the doors are locked, and the total is tallied up for good. Jesus is the Lord of the apex of the clock. Even though he defeated death and sin while he was on earth, we are still waiting to be swept up in his victory march. This is despite the fact that he gained the victory while he was on earth. On the other hand, that day will arrive. Everyone will bend their knees! Each and every bad force will eventually perish. However, the hearts that are completely given over to God will be placed into his loving and powerful hands for all of eternity. Our Lord reigns!
My Prayer
I am thankful for your gentleness and endurance with me, Almighty Father, for you are the God of grace and mercy. Lord, knowing your might that brings me some measure of consolation. Knowing that Jesus will establish his kingdom once and for all and wipe out all that is dishonest, malicious, evil, and wicked gives me hope. I pray that day arrives quickly! I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
