Thought and Reflection
This scripture reminds us repeatedly of the blessings of the Holy Spirit who dwells in us, the children of God. The Spirit that lives in us gives us the assurance that we will rise from from the dead on the last day. Since the Spirit who provided Jesus life and brought Him back from death is within us, we can be confident in the resurrection of our souls. Mortality is not going to take us.
It is the Holy Spirit’s power to live is greater than death. We’ll be alive! While our bodies might end up dying however, the Spirit of God invigorates, motivates and inspires us to triumph.
My Prayer
Holy Father, I am grateful for the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Knowing that the the same Spirit who created the universe and was the one who raised Jesus to life lives within me. You’ve chosen to dwell within me, bless me, shape me, mold me and help me conform to the ideals of Jesus. Thank for this. I pray in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
