And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another. — Romans 15:14 KJV
I myself am convinced, my brothers and sisters, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with knowledge and competent to instruct one another. — Romans 15:14 NIV
Reflection for Today's Verse
Paul reminds us that despite our weaknesses and shortcomings, we nevertheless have the potential to be significant, knowledgeable, and helpful to one another. Although we put our hope in God, he has also provided us with one another to help us down the path of faith. Let us not be faith communities that exist in isolation from one another, but rather let us draw on one another and gain wisdom from one another as we seek to Christ for our salvation and our strength.
My Prayer
Dear Lord, I want to express my gratitude to the loving for putting people in my life who have molded, instructed, and corrected me, as well as encouraged me in my walk with Christ. I am grateful to those who have encouraged me by their words, their actions, and their touches. On my voyage back to you, you have been so kind as to provide me with a family to accompany me. I humbly pray to you in the name of Jesus. Amen.
