Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. — Romans 13:7 KJV
Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor. — Romans 13:7 NIV
Thought and Reflection
Couldn’t it be great for God to let us free at tax time? Be that as it may, He is calling us to His personality, to be great, genuine, and blessed. In a world that is fallen and needs redemption, we should figure out how to live in it as God’s children, however not moved by it.
So we honor our obligations and responsibilities to others in light of the fact that in doing as such, we honor our Father.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, favor our government that it might all the more admirably utilize the taxes it gathers from my countrymen and me. Please help me with extending appreciation and honor today, so my compliance to Your will might be personal and public, as well as private. In Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen.
