I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. — Psalm 9:2 KJV
I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High. — Psalm 9:2 NIV
Thought and Reflection
Have you ever composed songs? When was the last time you thought of making up a praise song to God? Are you worried that you won’t be able to do it? Do you think it’s not going to be good enough?
But don’t worry, your sole listeners are your Abba Father, who wants to listen to your heart sing no matter the quality of your voice or melody’s tempo. He’d like to rejoice and be happy with you. Open your heart and lift your voice to sing praises to your God.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, than You for setting and rising in stunning splendor. I thank You for the grace You have shown me. I am grateful for the amazing protection of Your people when they’ve been repeatedly in danger. I am grateful for sending Jesus as our Messiah.
I praise You for His resurrection from the dead. I am grateful for the promise You made to bring Him back to Your children. Thank You Lord and I praise You in Jesus name. Amen.
