Reflection
There isn’t anything in heaven or earth, apparent or undetectable, that ought to upset our hearts or prompt us to be apprehensive, for He is the supreme Maker and all the strength of our lives and the enlightenment for our way derives from Him, and if we follow David’s model and walk in the light and trust His Word, we will not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life.
When we put Christ into proper perspective and see Him for Who He is, we should not fear man. Rather, we should rejoice in the Lord of our salvation who has brought us out of darkness into His wonderful light.
My Prayer
Dear God, truly You are my strength, my light and my life. I pray that when dark clouds of unknowing loom across my heart, that I immediately call to mind the wonderful truth of Who You are. Help me to abide in Your wonderful security and eternal salvation I have in Jesus. In His name I pray. Amen.
