Reflection on Verse for Today
Because we went through a phase in our lives when we were really clumsy, the promise that nothing can cause us to trip is practically impossible for us to believe. When it comes to living our lives, however, if we know God’s will, if we love it, and if we carry it out, then there is nothing that can cause us to falter. Knowing that the Father loves us and is concerned about our well-being brings a great sense of calm and assurance.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, please accept our thanks for this wonderful day. I am grateful for everything that lies ahead. I am grateful that I do not have to face either today or tomorrow with uncertainties over my core beliefs and without a clear understanding of how your desire for my life should be carried out.
Instilling in me a love for your will and your word will ensure that I am unmovable in the face of any challenge. Empower me by your Spirit, and guide me by your truth, so that I may reflect your character more perfectly. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
