Reflection on Verse for Today

As we live in a fallen world, it is comforting to know that God sees all and that His justice will ultimately prevail. It is a calling for us Christians to be agents of justice in this world reflecting God’s heart for the oppressed and marginalized.

Remember that this verse gives us the assurance of God’s closeness and His sovereignty as well as His intimate knowledge of our lives, and His justice. As an encouragement, let us draw near to Him in faith, seek to embody His holiness, trust in His sovereign control, and work for His justice in the world around us.

My Prayer

Dear Father, I pray for a heart that seeks justice as You do. Empower me to be Your hands and feet in this world, to stand up for the oppressed, and to reflect Your heart for all people. Help me to love as You love, to serve as You serve, and to give as You give.

Lord I also pray that You that my life will be a living testimony to Your grace and goodness. Teach me that I may continually draw closer to You seeking Your presence in all aspects of my life.

In Jesus mighty name, I pray. Amen.
