For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. — Psalm 100:5 KJV
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. — Psalm 100:5 NIV
Reflection on Verse for Today
Let us always and indefinitely give thanks to the name of our dependable God, and let us rejoice in wonder as we contemplate our forgiving Father. Because the Lord is beneficent. His mercy will last for all of eternity. His steadfastness endures through each after generation. Let us answer to the nameless Psalmist who calls for the entirety of the earth to shout joyously to the Lord, to serve Him with happiness, and to kneel before Him while joyfully singing praises.
Let us get to know the Lord on a personal level and get to know Him well, because the Lord is both our God and our Savior. Because He is our Creator, we are rightfully His. He fashioned each and every one of us while we were still in the womb of our mother, and he planned out our entire lives. Let us go into His courts with gratitude, and let us sing the glorious name of our God. Bless the Lord, the God of our salvation, for he is good; the Lord’s lovingkindness endures forever; and the Lord’s faithfulness reaches beyond the infinity of eternity.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, I give thanks to You, O God, for Your Loyalty, Kindness, Goodness, and Grace. You are certainly a Most Merciful God, and I worship Your Name. I beg you, Lord, to grant me the grace to always regard what you have done for me as something worthy of amazement and wonder. I pray that you will make use of me while I am still here on earth to bring acclaim and glory to You. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
