Thought and Reflection
Any cool and refreshing thing sounds great. If you’ve ever been in the middle of a harvest, and then gotten dust, plant fragments and sweat dripping from your shirt, you’re aware how refreshing a glass of water can be for your dry throat, and showering is great for your swollen body.
However, God affirms that if we’re reliable to each other and for Him — this is a better refreshment than a refreshing drink during a hot, exhausting day. What have you been doing with the message of Jesus lately? Have you shared His affection? Told about His grace? Shared His goodness? Let’s start get busy refreshing our Lord by blessing others with His wonderful gospel of salvation.
My Prayer
Forgive me Lord If I’m untrustworthy in Your words or feel embarrassed to show my loyalty towards You and Your gospel. Help me to show and convey Your mercy, love, character, and grace to the people around me. Let my actions and words today bring You joy and glory. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
