Reflection on Today's Verse
True love should be sincere, pure, and without hypocrisy. God does not call us to a love that is only shown in words, but a love that comes from a heart changed by His grace. At the same time, the verse teaches us to hate what is evil and hold tightly to what is good.
A faithful Christian life is not neutral toward sin; it chooses what pleases God and clings to what is right.
Personal Prayer
Lord, help me to love others with a sincere heart. Remove anything false, selfish, or proud within me, and teach me to walk in genuine kindness and truth.
Give me wisdom to reject what is evil and strength to cleave to what is good. Let my life reflect Your grace, Your holiness, and Your love each day. Amen.
