Reflection on Today's Verse
Christ Jesus came with a clear purpose: to save sinners. Paul did not hide from the truth of his past, but he used it to magnify the greatness of God’s mercy. His testimony shows that salvation is not for those who think they are worthy, but for those who know they need grace.
This verse encourages us to look away from self-righteousness, guilt, and fear, and look fully to Christ. No past is too broken, no heart is too far, and no sinner is beyond the reach of the Savior. The same grace that saved Paul is the same grace that saves today.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Christ Jesus into the world to save sinners. Thank You for Your mercy, patience, and grace toward me. Help me never to boast in myself, but only in the saving work of Jesus Christ. Remind me that my hope is not in my goodness, but in Your grace. Use my life as a testimony of Your mercy, and help me walk humbly, thankfully, and faithfully before You today.
