Thought and Reflection

God is slow in executing His justice, even when it calls for the punishment of His people. “Gracious and slow to anger” is a term that has been repeatedly utilized to refer to God during the Old Testament. God is determined to be gracious and to bless His people. He allows us to repent and to be receptive to God. He even gives Jesus Christ as an atoning sacrifice to pay for our sins.

Let’s listen to the heartbeat of God and act accordingly by turning our lives and hearts towards Him, the God who loves us.

My Prayer

Abba Father, I am grateful to You for the love and compassion You have shown through Your Son Jesus. Forgive me for those occasions when I have not deliberately and completely expressed gratitude for Your mercy in the way I conduct my life.

Help me to be perfected by your Spirit in the same way you have cleansed me and forgave me through Your grace. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
