Thought and Reflection

Becoming weary is part of Christian life. It is a component of the ministry. It is a fact that weariness can be felt when we focus our efforts to doing something things that are good for the people around us. The great benefit of God is that He can revive us, sustain us and ignite our faith. He does this by the encouragement of someone you trust. He does this by His presence within us, through the Holy Spirit. He does this by singing that inspire us. He does this by using Scripture or prayer.

While our bodies and minds may become tired, we should not allow our hands to fall in a state of idleness. If we are able to work with integrity, discipline and honesty, God’s grace will allow us to fulfill the task we’ve been called to accomplish.

My Prayer

Heavenly Father, forgive me that sometimes I feel exhausted and discontent in my efforts to serve You and others. I ask you to convict me, Father, of my neglect of sleeping, exercising or healthy eating habits.

Help me as I work to fix the issues within my own life. Grant me a humble heart during the moments when I fail to take care of my spiritual nourishment. I would like to be active and efficiently serve You  throughout the course that I live. In Jesus Name, I pray this. Amen.
