Thought and Reflection
There are people who take advantage of God’s flock and abuse God’s wealth. This is tragic since many of God’s faithful servants of the Word throughout the world are ministers with a lack of sources or financial resources. Although God did not promise ministers of the Word financial prosperity however, He reminds us that it is important to care for their needs.
Make a commitment to help those who are sharing the Word of God with us. We must also keep in mind the importance of sharing “all good things” means more than just money! Keep our missionaries, our ministers and educators in prayer. We must commit to send them periodic notes of particular motivation so that their work will be a blessing for us and to the Lord as well.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for all those who have been able to share Your Word with me. Help me to pray for all the teachers of the Bible, preachers of the Word who have been able to share your wisdom and faith with me.
Protect them from sin and discouragement. Invigorate their determination. Give them blessings for their families. Give them power through Your Spirit. Teach me to show them that they are precious for me as well as to You. In Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen.
