Bible Verse Reflection
We can’t renew by ourselves. We can protect ourselves from harmful influences. We are able to offer our lives to God and begin to understand His desires more clearly.
In the end, however, God Himself must do the renewal, not only after we have been saved, but every day. Only God’s grace will provide, sustain and empower us. Let us offer ourselves to God. We can then confidently seek His grace to strengthen, improve, and rejuvenate us.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, I am coming to You seeking Your mercy to help me become different in how I see things, and especially the way I see people.
I pray to cleanse my heart and transform me in my thinking and spirit. Help me to live each day of the year in the spirit of sharing your love, energized by your Holy Spirit, and mindful of your mercy. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
