Thought and Reflection

We are to begin everyday by praising God. Each breath we take brought to serve as a strong reminder of how God has blessed us with another day in which serving Him. Every heartbeat is God’s resounding drumbeat of lovingkindness in reminding us that we have been blessed to have another chance to serve Him with our best.

This blessing can be easy to forget. We should remember these facts as we teach them and show them and practice these truths with and in front of our children. We should not let them leave the learning of these truths to us to teach them by example. Find teachable moments that present how we believe, thank our Heavenly Father and to impart the truth of God.

My Prayer

Lord God, thank You for every breath I take as well as the rhythm of my heart that fuels my existence. Keep me in mind as I travel, talk, rest and work, that you are here and worthy of my highest effort. In the name of Jesus my Savior, I pray. Amen.
