Reflection on Today's Verse
Prayer is more than something we turn to only when life becomes difficult. It is an ongoing relationship with God. Paul reminds us to be persistent in prayer, spiritually alert, and thankful.
Sometimes we pray for something and do not immediately see an answer. In those moments, we can still remain watchful looking for God’s guidance, recognizing His blessings, and trusting that He is working even when we cannot yet see the outcome.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for always hearing me when I pray. Help me to remain faithful in prayer, not only when I need something, but every day as I seek a closer relationship with You.
Give me a watchful heart so I can recognize Your guidance and see Your goodness in the ordinary moments of my life. When answers seem delayed, help me trust Your timing instead of becoming discouraged.
Fill my heart with gratitude. Remind me of the blessings I often overlook and teach me to thank You in every season. May my prayers be filled with faith, patience, and confidence in Your unfailing love.
