Reflection on Today's Verse
No person is righteous by their own strength, record, or religious effort. All have sinned, and all fall short of God’s glory. But this truth is not meant to leave us hopeless. It points us to our need for the Lord Jesus Christ.
When we understand our sin, we also understand why grace is so precious. God did not save us because we were worthy. He saves through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. The law shows man’s guilt, but the gospel reveals God’s righteousness given by faith. Today, let this verse lead you away from self-trust and into deeper thankfulness for God’s grace.
Personal Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for showing me the truth of Your word. I know that I have sinned and come short of Your glory. I cannot save myself by my own works, goodness, or effort. Thank You for the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for my sins and made redemption possible through His blood.
Help me to walk humbly today, not trusting in myself, but resting in Your grace. Teach me to value the gospel more deeply and to remember that my hope is found only in Christ.
