Reflection on Today's Verse
God’s word deserves careful study. The Bible is not something to read only for comfort, but also for truth, correction, and spiritual understanding.
Paul tells Timothy to be a workman who does not need to be ashamed. That means the believer should not be lazy or careless with Scripture. We should desire to know what God is saying, to whom He is speaking, and how His truth applies today.
Rightly dividing the word of truth keeps us from confusion. It helps us understand God’s plan, His grace, and the message committed to Paul for the church today. When we study with a humble heart, we grow stronger, clearer, and more faithful in our walk with the Lord.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us Your word of truth. Help me to study it with a humble heart and a willing mind. Teach me to rightly divide Your word, so I may understand Your will and not be carried away by confusion or tradition.
Give me wisdom, patience, and spiritual discernment as I read the Scriptures. Let Your truth guide my thoughts, strengthen my faith, and help me stand approved unto You.
